Our Programmes: Arts, Health and Community in Action
Our work operates at the intersection of arts and public health. Through socially engaged dance, community cinema, creative participation and shared space activation, we use artistic practice as a tool for improving social health and strengthening local connection.
Each of our programmes is rooted in inclusive arts practice while responding to identified community needs, including loneliness, mental health challenges, caring responsibilities and barriers to participation.
Delivered from our community venue in East Belfast, our programmes not only support individuals but also activate and sustain a shared cultural space for the wider community. Investment in Our Social Space is therefore both an investment in people and in accessible local arts infrastructure.
Together, our programme portfolio creates multiple entry points into creative participation, wellbeing and belonging.

Our flagship arts-and-health programme offering free weekly swing and blues classes for adults living with mental health challenges, combining creative participation with structured wellbeing outcomes.

A preventative social dance programme supporting parents, grandparents and unpaid carers to reconnect, reduce stress and build supportive peer networks.

Monthly themed social and cultural nights activating our East Belfast venue through live music, social dance, cinema and community gathering.

A volunteer-led community garden transforming underused outdoor space into an accessible green hub for biodiversity, creativity and connection.
