Slow down. Get grounded. Grow something together.
The Juke Yard is our small but mighty urban garden — a shared outdoor space where people come together to reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves.
Created from a once-blank concrete yard, the space is being transformed into a welcoming, accessible green area through community effort, creativity, and care.
Sessions are relaxed, informal, and shaped by the people who attend. Activities may include:
You can take part as much or as little as feels right for you — whether that’s active gardening, lighter tasks, or just spending time outdoors.
There’s no rush, no pressure, and no expectation to “do it right”.
No experience? No problem.

The Juke Yard is open to adults who want to:
It’s about growing more than plants — it’s about connection, confidence, and shared ownership of a space that belongs to the community.
Dress for the weather and wear clothes you’re happy to get a bit mucky. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Gloves and basic tools are provided.
